AFL Quality Club Program

Gold Level medal

Blacktown Magic AFC can proudly announce that we are the FIRST club in all of NSW and ACT to meet all the criteria of a Gold level club under the Swisse AFL Quality Club Program. The AFL Quality Club Program operates as a way to recognise and reward clubs that strive for excellence in their administration, whilst also providing a baseline which a club’s administration and operation should meet. In addition to the Bronze and Silver accreditation, the Gold Qualification assures the following:

 

  • Our club must attend a minimum of 4 educational sessions of the AFL NSW/ACT Club Management Training Program
  • A coach at our club is Level 2 accredited
  • Our club has conducted the BROOS Induction program for club members through the use of a AFL NSW/ACT presenter
  • Our club has adopted a Disability Action Plan
  • Our club has developed and implemented a Club Strategic Plan
  • Our club is able to demonstrate a positive financial result in our most recent annual financial report
  • Our club is able to demonstrate at least one program/activity that our club has been involved in that has had a positive impact on the community
  • Our club is able to demonstrate at least one program/activity that our club runs to benefit our players outside of football
QC_Silver
Blacktown Magic AFC meets all the criteria of a Silver level club. This criterion assures the following:

  • Our club completed 2 Modules of the AFL NSW/ACT Club Management Training Program
  • Our club has a Football Operations Manager
  • Our trainers are accredited to league standards.
  • Our club has a Risk Management Officer
  • Our club has a Risk Management Policy.
  • Our club adheres to the Respect Officials
  • Our club has a club website and club email address
  • Our club produces an Annual Report for the AGM of the club
  • Our club participate in the AFL NSW/ACT Volunteer of the Year Program and AFL Volunteer Recognition Program
AFL_QualityClub
Blacktown Magic AFC meets all the criteria of a bronze level club. This criterion assures the following:

  • Our coaches are accredited.
  • Our trainers are accredited to league standards.
  • Our club supplies umpire escorts for all matches.
  • Our club complies with Working with Children legislation.
  • Our club is a registered food serving premises.
  • Our club has implemented a SmokeFree Policy.
  • Our club has a Racial and Religious Tolerance Policy.
  • Our club compiles annual budgets.
  • Our club has implemented a club code of conduct.
  • Our club completes a match day checklist before each match.
  • Our club has a liquor license (if you provide alcohol) or you do not sell alcohol.
  • Our club complies with responsible serving of alcohol legislation.
  • Our club is incorporated and operates under a constitution.
